I've noticed that our brick for the Macbook has started to show some unusual behavior. Under normal conditions, when the laptop is closed (sleeping) and charging, the LED glows orange on the contact, and it goes green when the laptop is fully charged.

Right now, we get a steady green the entire time. This has started since Leopard, so I think I can rule out any kind of power management software thing. I've used Google a bit but have found nothing definitive. Has anyone else experienced this, or do you know how to repair the problem? The laptop still charges, so its mainly an aesthetic and user interface kind of thing, but being a Mac user, when even a little thing like this happens, it makes me feel better when its back to normal.

“for whatever reason (probably me posting about it... isn't that always the case?), the brick is working properly again. strange, but happy.”

“I have had the same issue for a year now. Green light, laptop charging as usual. I don't really have a solution but I can confirm that it is not Leopard-related.”
