The Power of FPS

Friday, December 28, 2007

Today we had a big name local locksmith come to put in a bunch of new deadbolts, re-key several entrance knobs, and generally lock down our mighty castle to an even more elaborate extent. We were in the kitchen and I was writing the check, and the guy asks me how long I've been rampaging on Call of Duty 4. It took me by surprise, the box was out on a side table. We talked about that sniper level where you have to lay prone and the enemy walk through... what a crazy rush that was. Our 45+ years-old locksmith and I talking FPS. It was sweet.

“God, I hated that level. The whole sneaking thing was pretty cool, even if on rails, and the atmosphere was top notch, but the ending part - defending while the choppers arrived - was very random and utterly frustrating.”

“That level was scary with all the soldiers walking past you. I managed by keeping as close to my leader as possible.

The first poster's mention of the level where all the Russians are chasing you, took me forever to beat.
The graphics were amazing.
I'm hoping the makers of "Black" come out with a sequel.”

“I am kinda stuck on the level where you go down a missle silo and have to get to the control room. So many dudes down there.”
