Oops - how long will that Macromedia redirect work?

By accident today I entered "www.macromedia.com" into my browser. I guess that could mean I'm getting kind of old and showing how long I've been at this SWF thing.
Of course the URL redirects to Adobe. Adobe currently owns the domain name until May 14, 2013 and I imagine they will simply keep renewing it... dashing someone's hopes of snagging it for their own site. That would be a ballsy move anyway and probably not looked on very favorably in the community.
The oops moment gave me pause, and I smiled for a moment as the redirect took hold. A quiet & wonderful moment of nostalgia.
Now, back to work...
