Since we've seen and heard a lot of designer-related greatness coming out of the hallowed halls of Adobe, I am really wondering what might be in the pipeline for developers the next cycle. Yes, Flex 4 enables Thermo, and I'd say AIR when released is solid developer crack.
I am wondering if the next version of Flex Builder is going to bring more power and capabilities along with it. You can only do so much from release to release, and we are all grateful for all the awesome stuff Adobe gives us to play with, I am really excited about what we might see next.
I'm not jaded, wouldn't say overly spoiled, and I love the many tools we already have (from Adobe and third-parties), but I can't help but smile at what we might see next.
I LOVED Macromedia, but I honestly don't think they had the cash or the number of engineers to power the momentum that we see today with Adobe at the reigns.
Thanks guys.

“Eric,
I got some sort of a Market Research survey, and it did mention Bordeaux, with the list of features mentioned on my blog.
Simply thought it was too juicy of a rumor not to share. Sounds like a great project. If you can create classed FLA file with a prepopulated/structured library and the associated AS3 files in shareable project sutiable for a developer, I am all for it... sounds like that is kinda what Thermo would produce for MXML, whereas this tool is a Flash designer/developer integration point.” -

“Hey hi!, I totally agree with you, the things are moving and changing so fast that nowadays those who think they know are the ones who are using old versions or don't know that this is a fast-changing market, of course it has evolved since macromedia but wait, macromedia products reached a point where everybody trusted the path they were taking greetings :-D”
