Friday, December 7, 2007

This event started out small and now its pretty honkin' big. We're in a large meeting room with balconies on either side. Great keynote, where Adobe pulled the planned announcement. We're told something big will be announced December 12th at midnight. My gut tells me we'll see Thermo as a public beta on labs. But I don't have any information to back that up.

Bumped into Stephen Erat who told me he reads this blog regularly - which is cool since I don't do any CF.

We've seen some previews of some stuff coming in the early 2008 version of FB... some of which is rather sweet. We're at a break, and there is plenty more coming in sessions. Coffee time.

Update
Daniel Rinehart is blogging like mad here at FCB... He must type around 150wpm because he's spot on with updates as things are being spoken. Including code, etc.

Paul Reilly is now speaking about the Flex Profiler. They started from scratch with the profiler for FB3, but had a head-start from the player team (in-memory profiler). Product manager thought it should run in Eclipse. So now we see it in FB3. Okay, listening now, I'm sure Daniel is here clicking away on his laptop, so I can read his posts later ;)
