Saffron UML

Has anyone seen anything lately in regards to Saffron UML? I ask because I have been much too busy lately to be able to jet anywhere to attend a conference and I imagine the time when Saffron is unveiled or demo'd would be at such an event.

Samuel, if you read this, you could always post on your blog about what's happening. You know you have a lot of people really hoping this tool is released soon™. You should think about micro-payments :)

“I've heard a couple of rumors thats it been acquired and Samuel is under a tight NDA.

He's gone very quiet though - which could confirm the rumors but could not ... who knows

Lots of people REALLY eager to get their hands on this bad-boy though :-)”

“I wonder if Adobe snapped this up since they were working with him to get things rolling in AIR. They could push a new version of AIR, and this could be the killer app for it.

If not, then someone else is going to be able to make some coin off this if it's as good as we all hope that it is going to be.”

“Even if he is under NDA, I am pretty sure he could at least say, sorry, I can't talk about any details at this time. I was hoping for this app as well, but it sounds like the "Duke Nukem Forever" of the development world.”

“Hey Eric,

I've got no clue what's going on but I'm pretty sure that whether it was Adobe or Microsoft or Apple, they wouldn't be keeping quiet about it - they'd be shouting from the rooftops the moment the deal was done.

I've started an os project to develop a saffron-like tool - hopefully if enough of those of us who were waiting for saffron all muck in a bit then we can get what we've been waiting for pretty soon!

The info is on my blog :
