Electronic Arts picks FLV for it's video format (NHL'09)

I have been playing a lot of EA's NHL'09 - it's a pretty great game. Yes, I suck at playing defense but it's not as much fun as shooting on a goalie, is it? Anyway, the Instant Replay feature of the game is pretty sweet - you can set markers and playback speed, etc.
When you're done, you can save the clip and you can also upload it to your account on easportsworld.com - and there is the option to download it... in all of it's FLV glory. To be honest I would have preferred H264, but FLV works well enough for us.
Nice choice EA.
